Next Concert
Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra
The next Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra performance on March 20th will offer you the pleasure of a stunning soprano solo, a featured piano talent and of course the musicanship of our chamber orchestra. Soprano Mitra Sadeghpour will be featured in the elegant Ernst Chausson piece titled Chanson Perpetuelle for voice and orchestra. If you haven't yet heard Mitra Sadeghpour sing then you are in for a very special treat. Even though she is a full time associate professor with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Music and Theatre Arts Department, Sadeghpour is an active recitalist and concert musician. Also being featured during the next concert is pianist Ned Kirk who is the artistic and managing director of the Minnesota Beethoven Festival. Now in its third season Kirk helped found the Minnesota Beethoven Festival which has featured regional talent as well as internationally recognized artists such as Joshua Bell and Branford Marsalis. Kirk is also an associate professor of piano and chair of the music department at Saint Mary's University in Winona Minnesota.

Another feature of our March 20th concert will be the work of master stained glass artist Laurie Bieze. For several years Bieze has been the smiling face of the Eau Claire visual art community and her work can be seen throughout the Chippewa Valley. Her scuptures are diverse and always interesting.
You won't want to miss Mitra Sadeghpour, Ned Kirk and Laurie Bieze. Be sure to mark your calendar for March 20th at 7:30 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.
